Home of the annual TT races this coin is released not only to celebrate the anniversary but also in time for the races themselves, which take place every year on the Island, this year starting on 30 May. The Design of the coin depicts an image of a rider above the celebratory dates 1959 – 2009. The design also contains the 2009 Isle of Man TT logo as well as the Honda Wing logo, which signifies the close relationship between the two organisations
